The Silent Ledger is an abstract painting that depicts the human form, in an abnormal shape as a stylised, surreal representation of humanity.

The central subject is an elongated, surreal, distorted male form. The body and legs are characterised by faint, indecipherable and at times clear script or markings presenting an antique text etched subtly across the surface, giving the impression of a life filled with unspoken records or memories.

The mood is solemn, reflective and quiet. It is a silent interrogation of identity and time, where the ledger remained internal and never revealed with the figure merging into the background of life.
