Commissioned Work — Created in close collaboration with the client, this piece was tailored to suit their vision and complement a special room in their home.
Morning Haze in Lines evokes the quiet stillness of early morning, when the landscape is suspended between night and day. Delicate white lines drift across the surface like threads of mist, forming a soft morning haze that gently veils the land beneath. Through this luminous veil, rolling hills and green pastures emerge, their shapes softened by the atmosphere yet alive with subtle colour.
The hundreds of lines are the defining feature. They are thin, vertical, plaster that representing the lifting of the mist. These lines create a rhythmic, repetitive pattern across the canvas, adding a sense of repetitive and calm feeling.
