This art piece is one within a series where I was exploring the use of predominately black and white. The painting is in the style of abstract expressionism.

The painting is a piece that lives in the grey area—a balance between ‘chaos and structure’. The focus is on form, texture, and light rather than colour distraction.

This painting is textured with plaster that is coloured and the use of a pallet knife. It begins white and slowly becomes black.
